The 22nd book produced by Brindabella Press, being No. 164 of 200 copies, signed to colophon by printer Alec Bolton; the book was some years in preparation and reproduces 20 of Ogilvie’s engravings and three small decorations; all but five were printed from the original wood, the remainder being reproduced from line blocks from the artist’s proofs; includes Ogilvie’s text to facing pages, providing title, dimensions, date, edition, and a short descriptive paragraph; illustrated title label to front board from Ogilvie’s Ex-Libris engraving; edited and with an introduction by Helen Maxwell; quarter olive calf with brown papered sides, gilt titling to spine; also includes a hand-tipped duotone frontispiece photo of the artist printed by Goanna Print; hand binding by Helen Wadlington; includes original Brindabella loose leaf promo insert with descriptive text and same duotone as frontispiece, also hand-tipped; Very Good clean tight copy, with tiny worn spot to rear board.
