Scarce sampler of Ampollina dyes for artificial silk (rayon), being a cloth-bound triptych, each panel showing numerous small segments of rayon, dyed in a variety of colours (bleu, tabac, tangerine, chartreuse, graphite, etc), behind clear plastic sheets held in stitched blue cloth borders; the reverse side of each panel densely printed with Ampollina promo material, and texts referencing artificial silk and the dyeing process; very scarce; all texts in French; produced by Baribeau & Fils, Quebec, distributor of Ampollina products; no publishing date (Worldcat states c1930); plastic sheets a little dulled, but all dyes showing clear and bright; boards rubbed and bowed, two yellow and red labels to front heavily worn.
