Issue 19 of Nest Quarterly, an adventurous interior design periodical which ran for 26 issues from 1997-2004, and focussed on off-beat environments as opposed to the conventional luxury fare of the traditional interiors magazines; edited by Joseph Holtzman, and employing radical design elements for each issue; No. 19 with a warp & woof theme, features a synthetic weave over the front cover, designed by Andree Putman, who states “A nice marriage of extremes: the audacity of the content draped in the prudish envelope of a pinstriped suit”; inside are articles on Bedrock Design, The Art of Melancholy, Jim Zivic, Jack Lenor Larsen, Philippe Starck, and much more; original open spine showing glue and red stitching; synthetic weave present and intact; Very Good throughout; front cover and some early pages with mild creases to corners.
