The author shares his thoughts on Lawn Bowls, based on over 20 years experience in the game, including technical advice interspersed with anecdote; Signed and with gift-inscription by the author to front endpaper – no publishing date, but inscription dated July 28 ’38; b&w frontispiece plate of the author; former owner’s name to front pastedown, endpapers and text block tanned, o.w. Very Good throughout; boards a little rubbed, and with some worn spots.
