1933 edition of the Queensland School Reader for Grade II; the intention of the Readers was “to instil into the minds of pupils a love for literature as will last beyond school days and be to a source of permanent profit and delight” (from preface); b&w text and full-page illustrations, and with frontispiece plate showing the The Barron Falls North Queensland; inscription to front pastedown, generally good throughout (if a little tired) with creases to some pages, text block tanned; boards rubbed and a little spotted.
