Report on an Outbreak of Fever at Balranald caused by polluted water

J. Ashburton Thompson’s report to the NSW Legislative Assembly concerning an epidemic of fever at Balranald, a small township on the border of NSW and Victoria; dated 1889 (the epidemic having taken place 1888-89); includes two folding maps to rear of text, one showing a plan of the premesis upon which ‘Tank X’ stood, the other a Sketch Map of the Town of Balranald (55 x 60cm); newly bound in brown cloth boards with gilt titling to front, and with new endpapers, brown silk bookmark; short closed tear to title page, short closed tear to Balranald map, occasional mild foxing, o.w. Very Good.
