Scrapbook and Folder of original colour and b&w photos of Cannons in Australia and around the world c1980’s and with sundry associated materials

A collection of original colour and b&w photographs (mostly) of cannons, taken in the 1980’s, around Australia and some venues in Europe and the wider world; the photographer was clearly a military enthusiast, with a liking for cannons, and has annotated some of the photos, for example ‘Charters Towers RSL club 25-5-83 Japanese Mountain Gun 70mm Cal. No. 723’, or ‘Rijksmuseum Amsterdam 1983….gun made from bars of iron, made in Dordrecht 15thC’; 76 photos in all, mostly colour, some b&w, taken in Australia, Holland, South Africa, Germany, England, Malaysia, Belgium; along with the photos are newspaper clippings, photocopied pages, and magazine articles; a second Spiral Spring Flat File contains a typed text (presumably by the same person who has taken the photographs) on the Venus Battery at Charters Towers, accompanied by 6 original colour photos.
