Gerbrands; copiously illustrated with colour plates and b&w illustrations, and including fold-out map to rear; the Catalogue of Objects shows photo illustrations of Shields, Drums, Horns, Paddles, Spears, Bowls, Masks, Skulls, etc, each image accompanied by descriptive text (location, dimensions, etc); also includes a Glossary of Asmat Words; black cloth boards with white titling and red Asmat motif to front, red and white titling to spine; foxing to endpapers, prelims, and text block, occasional foxing in text, o.w. Very Good throughout; boards lightly rubbed, and with 1 x 1cm worn spot (loss of cloth) lower rh corner of front board.
