The Letters of the Celebrated Junius a more complete edition than any yet published Volume I 1783

Volume I of two volumes of the letters of Junius, published in 1783; no publisher mentioned, nor translator – the ‘Advertisement’ showing the printed intiails ‘M. de’ – 50 letters in all; full calf with original boards, spine re-backed in new leather with gilt titling; 2 x former owner’s inscriptions to front pastedown, endpapers and text block tanned, some tanning to edges of pages, generally good throughout; boards heavily rubbed/scuffed, worn at corners, general shelfwear.
