Capel and M.A. Cantar, etc, and also including trial exams ‘Euclid first paper three hours and a half allowed’; maths, geography, chemistry, natural history, literature, physiology, music, history, astronomy, and more; b&w text engravings throughout; much reprinted as a piece of educational nostalgia, Very Scarce in the original; three-quarter black leather with gilt titling to spine, marbled boards; former owner’s name to title page, scattered foxing (light-med-heavy) throughout, text block heavily tanned, o.w. Good with no marginalia etc; boards heavily rubbed/scuffed, marbling gone from rear board.
