1931 (revised) edition of the Queensland Mothers’ Book, put out by the Home Secretary’s Department, and designed to help mothers cope with very young children; infant feeding, care of the baby, teeth, feeding, clothing, sick babies, emergencies, simple recipes, and also including advice for expectant mothers; b&w illustrations; includes a loose-leaf Weight Card for a baby born 21st July 1930 for the Baby Clinic in the Valley (Brisbane), although there is only one entry for the weight when the baby was born, and one for week 37; staple-bound; short closed tear to title page (with archival tape-repair), minor occasional foxing, o.w. Very Good throughout; covers edgeworn and lightly rubbed/foxed, tanned to rear panel and spine, closed tear to front cover (with archival tape-repair), minor loss lower rh corner of front cover.
