12th impression of Amy Schauer’s classic Australian cook book; Schauer was teacher of cookery at the Central Technical college in Brisbane for over forty years and was examiner of cookery for the Qld Department of Education; colour illustrations to boards showing various dishes, bacon and ham, biscuits, bread, fish, game, icings, jellies, poultry, meats, etc, and including a first-aid section; tape-stains to endpapers, former owner’s inscription to front endpaper, text block tanned, o.w. Very Good throughout; dustwrapper edgeworn and rubbed, generally good, but unfortunately both front and rear flaps are glued to the pastedowns, so dw can’t be removed.
