The World on Mercator’s projection, being a folding map of the world (no date but c1900) in sections laid onto cloth backing; from the Philips’ Series of Travelling Maps; the map folds into and out of a cloth case with gilt titling to front; shows ‘Supposed Antarctic Continent’ to lower portion of map; some wear to cloth backing, and with some mild dampstains, map a little rubbed and with some marks top lh corner, o.w. Good; cloth case lightly rubbed.
