Tells the story of the relationship between Oodgeroo Noonuccal (Kath Walker) and the family of Sir Raphael and Lady Cilento, for whom Walker/Noonuccal served as live-in housekeeper in the 1950’s; in 1953 Kath had a son with Raff Cilento Jrn, who didn’t acknowledge his paternity, the child going on to become a dancer and choreographer, as well as part-owner of the world’s largest gay disco in Hollywood; b&w photo illustrations.
